Tracey and Mike originally from Manchester moved to Fuengirola and they opened their first bar Alley Cats in June 2019. They have now taken over The Spinning Goat in the port facing the boats and opened in May 2021. The kitchen has been refurbished and the large covered terrace overlooking the boats and has been redecorated with a fresh new look and has disabled access. The Spinning Goat is open every day except Monday serving English food with Friday fish & chips and Sunday lunch. You must try the homemade Giant Yorkshire pudding, which is so big it fills the plate!. There are over 30 tapas to choose from making their 5 tapas for 12€ a very popular seller, as the portion is ample. Vegetarian options are available on their menu and another added advantage for them is they serve Gluten Free fish and chips, which means everyone can enjoy this very English dish! In fact whilst we were there customers commented they were the best fish and chips and recommended them highly. The food is reasonably priced and plenty to choose from, breakfast starts from 4.95€ including tea or coffee. They have a fully stocked bar and serve Amstel and Strongbow on draft. The Spinning Goat is due to appear on the popular TV series Bargain Loving Brits Abroad …. so look out for them on this series!
